Load Failures

See an overview of risk drivers at the site or select a subset of risk drivers to focus on among critical functions, critical loads, facilities, hazards, and load failures. Viewing by hazards or load failures will show only the risk driven by that specific cause, while focusing on critical functions, critical loads, or facilities shows risk driven by all causes. For each subset other than load failures, where supply types are irrelevant, you can either view a summary of the data or examine each risk driver type in more detail, including (where relevant) the associated supply type(s) affected.

Unweighted risk in TRN Lite is expressed in terms of hours of disruption. Weighted risk incorporates the relative importance of the critical functions supported by critical loads by multiplying unweighted risk by the appropriate criticality weighting factor for each risk scenario. Results are presented in terms of weighted risk. Weighted risk does not have units and is intended to support comparison of relative risk levels rather than interpretation of absolute values.
